Imperial Red Table Lamp (6000-0932)
Culturally, the color of the Imperial Red Table Lamp is significant, as it is created by a small family factory in China; the secrets involved to produce the particular color passed down through generations to the artisans who mix the pigments. The richness of the surface on the deep red table lamp attests to the skill these artisans possess. Sitting atop an optic crystal base with a matching finial, the vase-shaped body is made of porcelain. The ring at the top of its form is made of metal in a natural brass finish.
